Pittsburgh Steelers at Miami Dolphins – Week 6

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Miami DolphinsPittsburgh Steelers take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in Miami Gardens, Florida

The Pittsburgh Steelers got beat by the Eagles a few weeks back but has responded by winning its past two opponents and looks to be on a path to the Super Bowl.  The Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) are coming from a 31-13 win over the New York Jets in Week 5. The Steelers are sure to be tough against the (1-4) Miami Dolphins in this Week 6 matchup. The game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Miami Dolphins will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at 1 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Pittsburgh Steelers might have the most potent offense in football. Ben Roethlisberger has many weapons to use with Le’Veon Bell out of the backfield and Sammie Coates in the passing game.  Pittsburgh beat up on the Jets last week and Ben Roethlisberger was his supreme self. Also wide receivers Sammie Coates and Antonio Brown just shows how many weapons Big Ben has.  The Steelers offense are averaging 27.8 points and 386.2 yards (284.2 in passing and 102.0 in rushing) per game. The Steelers defense are yielding 18.6 points and 379.0 yards (302.0 in passing and 77.0 in rushing) per game against the opposing teams.

The Miami Dolphins secondary seems to be always in flux this year. The defensive line that failed to disrupt the Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota last week could make for a good day for Big Ben. It’s been hard to pinpoint any one area where the Dolphins have been good this season. They got lucky to beat a bad Cleveland team. The Dolphins offense are averaging 17.6 points and 303.8 total yards (231.4 in passing and 72.4 in rushing) per game. The Miami defense are yielding 23.8 points and 401.0 yards (250.2 in passing and 150.8 in rushing) per game against the opposing teams. The Steelers are poised to beat the a Dolphins team that has no identity.

Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots, Week 8

Dolphins hammer Houston, now face undefeated Patriots

The surging Dolphins under interim coach Dan Campbell will get their first real test when they visit undefeated New England in an AFC East confrontation on Thursday Night Football. The re-charged Dolphins are now 3-3 and have won back-to-back games. They’ll next face the undefeated Patriots team that has ruled the AFC East for about a dozen years. The game between the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 8:25 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium. The matchup will be broadcasted on CBS and the NFL Network.

The New England Patriots came from behind to beat the Jets on Sunday for their 47th victory in their last 51 home games. The Patriots ignored the ground game Sunday, as Tom Brady was the team’s leading rusher with 15 yards.. Brady threw for 355 yards, his 68th 300-yard game, and has thrown at least two touchdown passes in all six games this season.  He engineered two fourth quarter scoring drives to pull out the win over New York last Sunday with tight end Rob Gronkowski catching 11 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown.

The Miami Dolphins have had quite the turnaround under Campbell with a pair of dominant performances against Tennessee and Houston. The Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has transformed since the coaching change and so has the Dolphins defense. The Dolphins will get a true test this Thursday night to see just how much of an impact Campbell has made. The Dolphins will need to keep up the strong play against the unbeaten Patriots.  Tom Brady looks unstoppable and the Patriots are awful tough at home. The Dolphins will need to keep the game close and try not to have any turnovers in order to have a chance for a win.
