The Green Bay Packers take on the Denver Broncos in an NFL showdown between undefeated teams. The Denver Broncos will be home team underdogs for just the second time since Peyton Manning arrived in Denver. The matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2015, at 8:30 p.m. ET at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The game will be broadcasted on NBC.
The Green Bay Packers offense has continued to be explosive despite losing wide receiver Jordy Nelson before the season. Green Bay has benefited from bringing back James Jones who Aaron Rodgers has gone to often early in the season. The Packers offense seems to be vulnerable to the pass rush. They are ranked 22nd in passing attack which is largely due to a slew of injuries at wide receiver and a collapsing pocket around Rodgers. Rodgers is going to get his yards and put the Packers into a position to score. In the past with major games on the road, he had trouble finishing the drives.
Denver has relied on their defense which has played like the best defense in the country. The Broncos are stopping teams and their defense is scoring touchdowns off turnovers. Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is going to be locked up with Randall Cobb wherever he goes. That’s going to leave Chris Harris out there to do his thing against either a rookie in Ty Montgomery or a vet in James Jones who isn’t nearly as speedy as he used to be. Either way, this is a decided advantage for Denver, even with Aaron Rodgers throwing the football. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has thrown 10 interceptions compared to seven touchdowns causing many to wonder if Manning is going to continue to struggle after their bye.
