The Detroit Pistons beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 112 -110 in overtime on Wednesday in their final game of the regular season.  The Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons will face each other again this weekend in the first game of the playoffs. The Cleveland Cavaliers will start the Eastern Conference playoffs this weekend as the No. 1 seed, hosting the No. 8 Detroit Pistons in the opening round. Best Sports Site Blog thinks this could be a difficult matchup for the Cavaliers. They’ve dropped three of four games to Detroit and they’ll face the Pistons once more in the playoffs. Game 1 of the NBA playoffs First Round between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons  is scheduled for Sunday, April 17, 2:00 PM ET, in Cleveland at the Quicken Loans Arena. The game will be broadcast on ABC.

The last time these two teams met in Cleveland at Quicken Loans Arena, it was Detroit winning 96-88 as a 9.5-point underdog.  LeBron James did not have a good game as he scored just 12 points for the Cavs. On the other hand, Reggie Jackson had a good game and led the Pistons with 23 points. There is concern over Jackson’s health as he was pulled from Tuesday’s 99-93 loss to the Miami Heat because of an abdominal strain. However, Jackson says he will be ready for the playoffs. Jackson is the best Detroit Piston’s offensive player, putting up 22.1 points and 7.3 assists per 36 minutes.
